Key Responsibilities
- Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, online help, and release notes.
- Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer support to gather information, clarify technical concepts, and ensure accuracy of content.
- Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly language for various target audiences.
- Adhere to established style guides, terminology, and content standards to ensure consistency across all documentation.
- Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, writing, editing, and publishing.
- Proactively identify gaps in existing documentation and recommend solutions to improve user experience.
- Participate in product development cycles to understand new features and functionalities and integrate documentation requirements.
- Utilize content management systems and documentation tools to organize and publish content effectively.
- Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a software or technology-focused environment.
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
- Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Zendesk Guide, MadCap Flare, Paligo) and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of information architecture and content strategy principles.
- Experience with Markdown, XML, or HTML for content authoring.
