Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, write, and maintain high-quality technical documentation, including user manuals, installation guides, API documentation, online help, and release notes.
  • Collaborate with product managers, engineers, and customer support to gather information, clarify technical concepts, and ensure accuracy of content.
  • Translate complex technical information into clear, concise, and user-friendly language for various target audiences.
  • Adhere to established style guides, terminology, and content standards to ensure consistency across all documentation.
  • Manage documentation projects from inception to completion, including planning, scheduling, writing, editing, and publishing.
  • Proactively identify gaps in existing documentation and recommend solutions to improve user experience.
  • Participate in product development cycles to understand new features and functionalities and integrate documentation requirements.
  • Utilize content management systems and documentation tools to organize and publish content effectively.
  • Review and edit content created by other team members for clarity, grammar, and adherence to company standards.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a Technical Writer in a software or technology-focused environment.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to quickly grasp complex technical concepts and make them easily understandable.
  • Proficiency with documentation tools (e.g., Confluence, Zendesk Guide, MadCap Flare, Paligo) and content management systems.
  • Strong understanding of information architecture and content strategy principles.
  • Experience with Markdown, XML, or HTML for content authoring.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently in a remote setting.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in English, Technical Communication, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience with API documentation tools (e.g., Swagger/OpenAPI).
