Job Description
We are actively seeking a talented and driven CI/CD Engineer to join a pivotal team in Leeds, working with one of our innovative client partners. As a CI/CD Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing, implementing, and maintaining the infrastructure and tools that enable rapid and reliable software releases. Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain scalable CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, or CircleCI.
- Automate build, test, and deployment processes across multiple environments.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate automated testing and quality gates into the CI/CD process.
- Manage and maintain version control systems (e.g., Git) and branching strategies.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) solutions using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
- Monitor and troubleshoot pipeline failures, identifying root causes and implementing preventative measures.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of existing CI/CD processes and tools.
- Ensure security best practices are integrated into the pipeline at every stage.
- Document CI/CD workflows, configurations, and best practices.
Required Skills
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, CircleCI).
- Strong scripting skills in Bash, Python, or PowerShell.
- Proficiency with version control systems, especially Git.
- Experience with containerisation technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Solid understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible).
- Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
Preferred Qualifications
