Key Responsibilities
- Process new insurance applications, renewals, and policy changes accurately and efficiently.
- Act as a primary point of contact for client inquiries, providing clear and concise information regarding policies, claims, and coverage options.
- Maintain meticulous client files and policy records, ensuring all documentation is up-to-date and compliant with industry regulations.
- Assist agents and brokers in preparing proposals, presentations, and other client-facing materials.
- Coordinate appointments and meetings between clients, agents, and underwriting departments.
- Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, letters, and faxes.
- Collaborate with insurance providers to obtain quotes, resolve issues, and ensure timely processing of requests.
- Support the claims process by gathering necessary documentation and liaising between clients and adjusters.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Adhere strictly to all company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in an insurance coordination or administrative role.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, in English and French.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Proven client service skills with a professional and empathetic approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
- A valid license or certification from the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF) or working towards one.
- Experience with insurance management software (e.g., Applied Epic, PowerBroker).
- Knowledge of various insurance products (e.g., P&C, Life, Health).
