Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented IT Purchasing Support Analyst to join our team in Brentwood, Calgary. In this vital role, you will be instrumental in supporting our IT procurement processes, ensuring that our technological infrastructure is equipped with the right tools and services efficiently and cost-effectively. You will act as a crucial link between IT operations, finance, and our vendor partners, managing the lifecycle of IT assets from requisition to disposal. Key Responsibilities

  • Process IT purchase requisitions and orders, ensuring accuracy and adherence to procurement policies.
  • Track and manage IT assets and software licenses throughout their lifecycle, maintaining up-to-date inventory records.
  • Liaise with IT departments, finance, and vendors to ensure timely delivery and resolution of any purchasing-related issues.
  • Assist in vendor selection, negotiation, and relationship management to secure favorable terms and pricing.
  • Monitor budgetary expenditures related to IT purchases and provide regular reports to management.
  • Identify and implement process improvements within the IT purchasing workflow to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
  • Ensure compliance with company purchasing guidelines, contractual obligations, and regulatory requirements.
  • Support the reconciliation of invoices and resolve discrepancies with vendors and accounting.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on purchasing activities, vendor performance, and cost savings initiatives.

Required Skills

  • 2+ years of experience in IT purchasing, procurement, or a related support role.
  • Strong understanding of IT hardware, software, and service procurement processes.
  • Proficiency with procurement software and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics).
  • Excellent organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a dynamic environment.
