Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and secure backend services and APIs.
  • Write clean, efficient, well-documented, and testable code using best practices.
  • Collaborate with front-end developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to define and deliver new features.
  • Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to the overall system design.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues in development and production environments.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and security.
  • Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to coding standards.
  • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure seamless deployment.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends to continuously improve our technical capabilities.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in at least one backend programming language (e.g., Python, Java, Node.js, Go, C#).
  • Experience with relevant backend frameworks (e.g., Django, Spring Boot, Express.js, ASP.NET Core).
  • Strong understanding of relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB).
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
  • Knowledge of message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions).
  • Familiarity with test-driven development (TDD) and unit/integration testing frameworks.
  • Understanding of security best practices in web application development.
  • Experience with performance monitoring and optimization techniques.
