Key Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly, actively listen to their vehicle concerns, and accurately document their service requests.
- Conduct thorough vehicle walk-arounds to identify additional needs or potential issues, advising customers on necessary repairs and maintenance.
- Prepare precise service estimates, clearly explaining the scope of work, pricing, and timelines to customers.
- Schedule service appointments efficiently, manage the service bay workflow, and communicate vehicle status updates regularly.
- Act as a liaison between customers and service technicians, ensuring clear communication and understanding of diagnostic findings.
- Process repair orders, invoices, and payments accurately, maintaining organized records and adhering to company policies.
- Proactively follow up with customers post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any lingering questions or concerns.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional service reception area.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an Automotive Service Advisor or in a similar customer-facing role within the automotive industry.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in both French and English (bilingualism is essential for our Granby clientele).
- Strong understanding of automotive systems, repairs, and maintenance procedures.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service and build lasting customer relationships.
- Proficiency in using dealership management systems (DMS) and other relevant computer software.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Quebec driver’s license with a clean driving record.
Preferred Qualifications
- Post-secondary education in Automotive Service Management or a related field.
- ASE (Automotive Service Excellence) certifications are highly regarded.
