Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain security systems, tools, and controls across network, endpoint, and cloud environments.
- Conduct vulnerability assessments, penetration testing, and security audits to identify and mitigate risks.
- Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and procedures in alignment with industry best practices and regulatory requirements.
- Monitor security alerts, investigate incidents, and perform incident response activities, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to integrate security into the SDLC (Secure Development Lifecycle).
- Perform threat modeling and risk assessments for new and existing systems and applications.
- Stay current with emerging cybersecurity threats, technologies, and intelligence, providing recommendations for improvements.
- Provide security training and awareness to employees to foster a security-conscious culture.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in network security principles (firewalls, IDS/IPS, VPNs, proxies).
- Experience with security information and event management (SIEM) systems.
- Strong understanding of common attack vectors and mitigation techniques.
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell) for automation.
- Familiarity with cloud security platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
