Are you an experienced iOS Engineer with a passion for building elegant, high-performance mobile applications? Career.zycto is rapidly expanding its innovative product suite, and we’re seeking a talented individual to join our dedicated mobile development team in Kippax, Leeds. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the full lifecycle of our iOS applications, from conceptualization and design to development, testing, and deployment. You’ll be instrumental in shaping the future of our user-facing products, working with the latest Swift and SwiftUI technologies to deliver intuitive and responsive experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Swift code for iOS applications.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Product, UX/UI, Backend) to define, design, and ship new features.
- Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications.
- Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs.
- Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization.
- Actively participate in code reviews, stand-ups, and sprint planning sessions.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as an iOS Engineer with published applications.
- Strong proficiency in Swift and extensive experience with iOS frameworks such as UIKit, Core Data, and Core Animation.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect iOS applications to back-end services.
- Understanding of Apple’s Human Interface Guidelines and app store submission process.
- Experience with Git version control.
- Knowledge of multithreading, memory management, and performance tuning.
- Solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with SwiftUI and Combine frameworks.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications (e.g., Fastlane, Jenkins, Xcode Cloud).
- Experience with unit and UI testing frameworks.
- Knowledge of architectural patterns like MVVM, MVC, or VIPER.
- Understanding of agile development methodologies.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
