Key Responsibilities
- Administering and maintaining accurate records for publishing agreements, licenses, and song registrations.
- Processing and reconciling royalty statements, ensuring timely and correct payments to songwriters and rights holders.
- Assisting with copyright registration processes and managing intellectual property rights.
- Liaising effectively with performing rights organizations (PROs), mechanical collection societies, and other industry partners.
- Managing and updating publishing databases with precise metadata, licensing information, and contact details.
- Providing comprehensive support for contract management, including drafting and tracking various publishing documents.
- Ensuring full compliance with current music publishing laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
- Monitoring and identifying new publishing opportunities and potential revenue streams.
- Generating detailed reports and conducting analysis on publishing income and expenditures.
- Responding to internal and external inquiries related to publishing rights and administration.
