Key Responsibilities

  • Administering and maintaining accurate records for publishing agreements, licenses, and song registrations.
  • Processing and reconciling royalty statements, ensuring timely and correct payments to songwriters and rights holders.
  • Assisting with copyright registration processes and managing intellectual property rights.
  • Liaising effectively with performing rights organizations (PROs), mechanical collection societies, and other industry partners.
  • Managing and updating publishing databases with precise metadata, licensing information, and contact details.
  • Providing comprehensive support for contract management, including drafting and tracking various publishing documents.
  • Ensuring full compliance with current music publishing laws, regulations, and industry best practices.
  • Monitoring and identifying new publishing opportunities and potential revenue streams.
  • Generating detailed reports and conducting analysis on publishing income and expenditures.
  • Responding to internal and external inquiries related to publishing rights and administration.

Required Skills
