Career.zycto is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Supply Chain Analyst to join our vibrant team in Bode Thomas, Surulere. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in optimizing our clients’ supply chain processes, enhancing efficiency, and reducing costs. You will dive deep into complex data sets, identifying trends, forecasting demand, and developing actionable insights that drive strategic decisions. Your day-to-day will involve collaborating closely with internal teams and external stakeholders, providing critical support for inventory management, logistics planning, vendor performance evaluation, and operational troubleshooting. Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze supply chain data to identify performance gaps, inefficiencies, and opportunities for optimization.
  • Develop and implement demand forecasting models to ensure optimal inventory levels and minimize stockouts or overstock.
  • Monitor and evaluate supplier performance, identifying areas for improvement and negotiating favorable terms.
  • Collaborate with logistics teams to streamline transportation, warehousing, and distribution processes.
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations on supply chain metrics, trends, and recommendations for stakeholders.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
  • Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for potential supply chain disruptions.
  • Utilize ERP systems and other specialized software for data extraction, analysis, and reporting.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel, SQL, Power BI, Tableau).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Solid understanding of supply chain principles (forecasting, inventory management, logistics, procurement).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • Certifications such as SCPro, APICS CPIM, or CSCP.
  • Experience with advanced planning and scheduling (APS) software.
  • Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Prior experience in a consulting environment.
