Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic's calendar efficiently.
  • Register new patients and update existing patient information accurately.
  • Verify patient insurance eligibility and process payments/co-pays.
  • Answer multi-line phone systems, direct calls, and take messages.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and ensure compliance with health data regulations.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, including faxes and emails.
  • Prepare patient charts and ensure all necessary documentation is available for medical staff.
  • Coordinate referrals and follow-up appointments as needed.
  • Maintain a tidy and organized reception area.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks as required by the medical team.
