Key Responsibilities

  • Safely and efficiently deliver a variety of packages and documents to specified locations within Côte-des-Neiges and the broader Montreal area.
  • Follow predetermined delivery routes and schedules, optimizing for time and efficiency.
  • Load and unload delivery vehicles with careful attention to package safety and organization.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, pickups, and package status.
  • Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries, handling inquiries professionally and courteously.
  • Adhere strictly to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and driving regulations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any issues promptly.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and team members regarding route progress or any delivery challenges.

Required Skills

  • Valid Class 5 Quebec Driver's License (or equivalent)
  • Clean driving record (abstract required)
  • Ability to lift and carry packages weighing up to 50 lbs (23 kg)
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Excellent customer service and communication abilities
  • Reliability and strong work ethic
  • Basic navigation skills and familiarity with using GPS devices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Familiarity with the Côte-des-Neiges/Montreal area geography
  • Previous experience in a customer-facing role
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset
