Job Description

Career.zycto is on the hunt for a passionate and experienced Scrum Master to join our thriving product development team in Bootle, Liverpool. This isn’t just a role; it’s an opportunity to be a catalyst for change, driving continuous improvement and fostering a culture of self-organization and accountability within our agile ecosystem. As a Scrum Master, you will be instrumental in guiding one or more development teams to perform at their highest potential, ensuring adherence to Scrum principles and practices while adapting to the unique needs of our projects.

Your daily mission will involve facilitating all Scrum ceremonies – Sprint Planning, Daily Scrums, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives – making them engaging, productive, and outcome-oriented. You will serve as a guardian of the team’s focus, protecting them from external distractions and resolving impediments that hinder their progress. We expect you to be a masterful communicator and empathetic leader, capable of coaching team members on agile values and principles, fostering a collaborative environment where ideas flow freely, and challenges are met with innovative solutions.

Beyond facilitation, you will play a crucial role in building trust and promoting transparency, both within your team and across the wider organization. You’ll work closely with Product Owners to ensure backlogs are well-refined and understood, and with other stakeholders to manage expectations and communicate progress effectively. Your analytical skills will be vital in tracking key metrics, identifying trends, and recommending process improvements that enhance efficiency and quality.

At Career.zycto, we believe in empowering our people. You will have the autonomy to experiment with new techniques, drive initiatives that enhance our agile maturity, and contribute to the evolution of our best practices. This role offers significant professional development opportunities, allowing you to deepen your expertise and grow alongside a team of dedicated professionals committed to excellence. If you are a proactive problem-solver with a proven track record of successful Scrum implementations and a desire to make a tangible impact, we invite you to apply and help us shape the future of our products.
