Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, deploy, and maintain AI/Machine Learning models for industrial applications such as predictive maintenance, quality control, and process optimization.
  • Design and implement robust data pipelines for ingesting, cleaning, and transforming large datasets from industrial sensors, SCADA systems, and other operational technologies.
  • Collaborate with process engineers, operational teams, and data scientists to identify AI opportunities and define clear project requirements and success metrics.
  • Conduct research and rapid prototyping of new AI technologies, algorithms, and methodologies relevant to improving industrial efficiency and automation.
  • Integrate developed AI solutions into existing production systems, ensuring seamless operation, scalability, and adherence to industrial standards.
  • Monitor the performance of deployed AI systems, troubleshoot issues, and iterate on models to ensure continuous improvement and reliability.
  • Ensure best practices in MLOps, software engineering, data governance, and ethical AI are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Communicate complex technical concepts and project outcomes effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills

  • Proficiency in Python and strong experience with core AI/ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy).

  • Experience with industrial data sources and protocols (e.g., SCADA, historians, OPC UA, Modbus, MQTT).
  • Proven ability to design and implement robust data pipelines and perform data engineering tasks.
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML model deployment and infrastructure management.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to translate complex business problems into AI-driven solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for technical and cross-functional collaboration.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related quantitative field.
