Key Responsibilities

  • Execute timely and secure delivery and collection of documents, packages, and other items to and from clients, partners, and internal departments across Vacoas-Phoenix and surrounding areas.
  • Plan and optimize daily delivery routes to ensure maximum efficiency and punctuality.
  • Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including recipient signatures and proof of delivery.
  • Provide general office support, including sorting and distributing internal mail, photocopying, scanning, and filing documents as required.
  • Assist with minor errands and logistical tasks to support various departmental needs.
  • Ensure the proper maintenance and cleanliness of the company vehicle (if applicable) or personal vehicle used for deliveries.
  • Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies during transit.
  • Communicate effectively with internal staff and external contacts, representing the company professionally at all times.
  • Handle confidential information and sensitive materials with utmost discretion.

Required Skills

  • Valid driving license (Motorcycle/Car) appropriate for the vehicle used for deliveries.
  • Proven experience as a messenger, courier, or in a similar delivery-focused role.
  • Excellent knowledge of Vacoas-Phoenix and surrounding areas street routes and traffic patterns.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks.
  • High level of reliability, punctuality, and a strong sense of responsibility.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a dynamic schedule.
  • Good physical stamina and ability to lift and carry packages.
  • Basic communication skills (verbal and written) in English and French (Creole preferred).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Secondary School Certificate (Form 5 / O-Level).
  • Experience with GPS navigation systems and mobile applications.
  • Prior experience in an office administrative support role.
  • Familiarity with basic vehicle maintenance checks.
