Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient IT Technician specializing in Hardware Setup & Troubleshooting to join our team in the heart of Merchant City, Glasgow. Key Responsibilities

  • Diagnose and troubleshoot hardware issues for desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Perform setup, configuration, and deployment of new hardware and software.
  • Conduct routine preventative maintenance on IT equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
  • Manage IT asset inventory, including tracking, documentation, and disposal of hardware.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Install and upgrade operating systems, drivers, and essential software.
  • Collaborate with the broader IT team to implement system improvements and infrastructure upgrades.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service requests, troubleshooting steps, and resolutions.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and security protocols.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in hardware setup, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
