Key Responsibilities
- Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for alerts and anomalies, escalating critical issues to senior analysts.
- Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents, gathering relevant data and documenting findings.
- Assist in the maintenance and optimization of security tools, including vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection platforms.
- Contribute to the creation and upkeep of security documentation, policies, and procedures.
- Participate in vulnerability scanning activities and assist with remediation efforts under guidance.
- Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated across the organization.
- Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and training.
- Provide basic technical support for security-related queries and issues.
