Job Description

Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing security team as a Security Operations Support Specialist. Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor security information and event management (SIEM) systems for alerts and anomalies, escalating critical issues to senior analysts.
  • Perform initial triage and investigation of security incidents, gathering relevant data and documenting findings.
  • Assist in the maintenance and optimization of security tools, including vulnerability scanners, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and endpoint protection platforms.
  • Contribute to the creation and upkeep of security documentation, policies, and procedures.
  • Participate in vulnerability scanning activities and assist with remediation efforts under guidance.
  • Collaborate with IT and development teams to ensure security best practices are integrated across the organization.
  • Stay informed about the latest cybersecurity threats, trends, and technologies through continuous learning and training.
  • Provide basic technical support for security-related queries and issues.

Required Skills

  • Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, firewalls, routers)
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux)
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
