Beyond transactions, this role is about creating a welcoming atmosphere. Key Responsibilities
- Accurately process cash, credit, and debit card transactions using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- Perform daily till reconciliation and report any discrepancies promptly to management.
- Greet customers warmly, provide excellent service, and assist with product inquiries.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cashier station, convenience store area, and restrooms.
- Monitor fuel pump operations, ensure customer safety, and assist with fueling procedures as needed.
- Stock shelves with merchandise, ensure proper display, and verify pricing accuracy.
- Adhere strictly to all safety and security protocols, including handling of hazardous materials and emergency procedures.
- Report any equipment malfunctions, security concerns, or customer feedback to the supervisor.
- Promote loyalty programs, special offers, and new products to enhance customer engagement.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to ensure smooth shift transitions and operational efficiency.
