Key Responsibilities
- Assist in land preparation, planting, and transplanting of various crops.
- Monitor crop health, identify pests, diseases, and nutrient deficiencies, and report findings to supervisors.
- Support irrigation scheduling and water application based on crop needs and weather conditions.
- Participate in weeding, pruning, and other essential crop maintenance activities.
- Aid in the accurate and safe application of fertilizers, pesticides, and other agricultural inputs under strict supervision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Collect and meticulously record farm data, including yield information, input usage, and pest sightings for analysis.
- Operate and maintain basic farm equipment and tools safely and efficiently, ensuring their longevity.
- Assist with harvesting activities and post-harvest handling processes to ensure produce quality and minimize spoilage.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, standard operating procedures, and environmental guidelines on the farm.
- Contribute to maintaining a clean, organized, and productive farm environment.
