Career.zycto is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Policy Analyst to join our dynamic team in Memphis, Tennessee. In this pivotal full-time role, you will be instrumental in researching, evaluating, and developing policy recommendations that address pressing societal issues and advance organizational objectives. The ideal candidate will possess a profound understanding of policy frameworks, strong quantitative and qualitative research skills, and the ability to communicate complex information clearly and persuasively to diverse stakeholders. You will contribute to evidence-based decision-making processes, supporting initiatives that range from local community development to broader regional strategies. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive research and analysis on existing and proposed policies, legislation, and regulations.
  • Identify policy gaps, risks, and opportunities, providing data-driven recommendations.
  • Prepare detailed policy briefs, reports, presentations, and other communication materials for various audiences.
  • Monitor legislative developments and policy trends at local, state, and federal levels relevant to our organization's mission.
  • Collaborate with internal teams, external partners, and subject matter experts to gather insights and build consensus.
  • Develop and apply quantitative and qualitative methodologies to assess policy effectiveness and impact.
  • Participate in stakeholder consultations, workshops, and public forums to represent organizational perspectives.
  • Assist in the development of strategic plans and advocacy efforts based on policy analysis.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on policy matters to senior leadership and project teams.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience in policy research, analysis, and development.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an ability to distill complex information.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, including proficiency in data interpretation.
  • Proficiency with research methodologies and statistical analysis tools.
