This is a fully remote position, allowing you to contribute your expertise from anywhere within Kigali, Kigali Province, while collaborating with a diverse and talented global team. You will be instrumental in defining the vision, strategy, and roadmap for our core SaaS products, translating market needs and business objectives into compelling features and user experiences. Key Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for our SaaS products, aligning them with company-wide strategic goals.
- Conduct thorough market research, competitive analysis, and customer feedback analysis to identify opportunities and inform product decisions.
- Translate high-level concepts into detailed product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria for engineering teams.
- Prioritize the product backlog effectively, balancing new feature development, technical debt, and bug fixes to maximize business value.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, design, sales, marketing, and customer success teams throughout the entire product development lifecycle.
- Define, monitor, and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to evaluate product success and identify areas for improvement.
- Champion the voice of the customer within the organization, ensuring user needs and pain points are central to product development.
- Launch new products and features, working with marketing and sales to ensure successful go-to-market strategies.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in Product Management, with at least 3 years focused on SaaS products.
- Demonstrated experience in defining product strategy, roadmaps, and requirements for complex software solutions.
- Strong understanding of agile development methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
- Proven ability to lead and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority.
- Solid technical aptitude with the ability to understand and discuss technical concepts with engineering teams.
- Experience with product analytics tools and A/B testing methodologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
- MBA or a relevant advanced degree.
- Experience working in a remote-first or highly distributed team environment.
- Certifications such as Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Pragmatic Marketing.
