As a Customer Support Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining high levels of client satisfaction. Your daily tasks will involve responding to diverse customer queries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate information, and guiding them through our services and processes. You will be instrumental in documenting interactions, resolving minor issues independently, and escalating complex cases to the appropriate departments. Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customer inquiries, both in-person and remotely (phone, email).
  • Provide accurate, valid, and complete information by using the right methods/tools.
  • Handle customer complaints, provide appropriate solutions and alternatives within the time limits; follow up to ensure resolution.
  • Keep records of customer interactions, transactions, comments, and complaints.
  • Communicate and coordinate with internal departments to resolve customer issues.
  • Manage and update customer databases with new information, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Assist with administrative tasks as needed to support overall office operations and efficiency.
  • Contribute to team efforts by accomplishing related results as needed and participating in team meetings.

Required Skills

  • Proven customer support experience or experience as a client service representative (1-2 years minimum).
  • Strong phone contact handling skills and active listening.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and basic computer literacy.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications

  • B.Sc./HND in Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and practices.
  • Experience in the recruitment or HR consulting industry.
  • Ability to speak multiple local Nigerian languages to cater to a diverse client base.
