Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the preparation and submission of grant applications, ensuring all documentation is accurate and complete.
- Monitor grant deadlines and proactively manage the grant calendar to ensure timely submissions and reporting.
- Maintain comprehensive and organized grant files, databases, and records for all funding opportunities.
- Draft, proofread, and edit grant proposals, reports, and other related correspondence.
- Liaise with internal teams (project managers, finance, legal) to gather necessary information and ensure compliance with grant requirements.
- Prepare financial reports and budgets related to grants, ensuring alignment with funding stipulations.
- Research potential funding opportunities from various sources including government agencies, foundations, and corporations.
- Coordinate grant-related meetings, including scheduling, preparing agendas, and distributing materials.
- Assist with post-award administration, including grant amendments, modifications, and close-out procedures.
- Stay updated on best practices in grant administration and relevant regulatory changes.
Required Skills
- 2+ years of experience in grant administration, project coordination, or a related administrative role.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a strong ability to articulate complex information clearly.
- Demonstrated organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Google Workspace.
