Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases for web, mobile, and desktop applications.
- Identify, document, and track software defects using bug tracking systems (e.g., Jira), ensuring clear and concise reporting.
- Perform various types of testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, and user acceptance testing.
- Collaborate closely with development and product teams to understand requirements, clarify user stories, and provide feedback on design.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of QA processes, tools, and methodologies.
- Conduct root cause analysis of issues and verify fixes implemented by the development team.
- Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospective meetings within an Agile environment.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Software Tester or QA Engineer (3+ years).
- Strong understanding of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC).
- Proficiency with bug tracking and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, TestRail).
- Ability to create clear, concise, and comprehensive test plans and test cases.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with manual testing techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
- ISTQB Certification or other relevant QA certifications.
