Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a warm and professional manner, ensuring a positive first impression.
- Manage patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations, using our clinic management system.
- Register new patients and update existing patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
- Answer incoming calls, respond to inquiries, and direct calls to the appropriate department or staff member.
- Process patient payments, manage billing inquiries, and maintain accurate financial records.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organisation of the reception area and waiting room.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, and data entry.
- Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to all data protection regulations (e.g., GDPR).
- Liaise with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow and communication.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a reception or administrative role, preferably within a medical or clinical setting.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with excellent attention to detail.
- Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain patient confidentiality.
