Key Responsibilities
- Conduct regular and thorough foot and vehicle patrols of designated areas during night hours.
- Monitor surveillance equipment, including CCTV, and promptly respond to alarms or suspicious activities.
- Control access to premises, ensuring only authorized personnel and vehicles enter and exit.
- Inspect buildings, grounds, and equipment to identify and resolve potential security risks.
- Write detailed reports of daily activities, incidents, and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, or presence of unauthorized persons.
- Respond effectively to emergencies, including medical incidents, fires, and security breaches, following established protocols.
- Communicate clearly and effectively with clients, colleagues, and emergency services when required.
- Enforce all company and client security policies and procedures.
- Secure all entrances and exits, windows, and gates.
Required Skills
- SIA Door Supervisor or Security Guarding License (active)
- Proven ability to work independently and with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent observational and communication skills
- Strong sense of responsibility and integrity
- Ability to remain calm and decisive in high-pressure situations
- Basic knowledge of first aid and emergency procedures
- Physical fitness to conduct regular patrols and stand for extended periods
