Key Responsibilities

  • Assist senior technicians with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware faults on various IT equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, networking gear).
  • Participate in the assembly, installation, configuration, and testing of new computer systems and peripherals.
  • Learn and apply basic repair techniques, including component replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, power supplies, etc.).
  • Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks and cleaning of hardware to ensure optimal performance.
  • Document technical issues, solutions, and maintenance procedures accurately.
  • Provide basic technical support and guidance to end-users under supervision.
  • Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled.
  • Actively engage in training sessions and self-study to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
  • Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and best practices in hardware management.
  • Support inventory management of hardware parts and consumables.

Required Skills

  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware components and their functions.
  • Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux basics).
