Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior technicians with the diagnosis and troubleshooting of hardware faults on various IT equipment (desktops, laptops, printers, networking gear).
- Participate in the assembly, installation, configuration, and testing of new computer systems and peripherals.
- Learn and apply basic repair techniques, including component replacement (RAM, HDD/SSD, power supplies, etc.).
- Conduct routine preventive maintenance checks and cleaning of hardware to ensure optimal performance.
- Document technical issues, solutions, and maintenance procedures accurately.
- Provide basic technical support and guidance to end-users under supervision.
- Maintain an organized and clean workspace, ensuring tools and equipment are properly handled.
- Actively engage in training sessions and self-study to enhance technical knowledge and skills.
- Adhere to all company policies, safety standards, and best practices in hardware management.
- Support inventory management of hardware parts and consumables.
