Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable and secure cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or Azure DevOps.
  • Implement and manage containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning and configuration using IaC tools (Terraform, Ansible).
  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability and disaster recovery.
  • Collaborate with development teams to optimize application deployment and operational efficiency.
  • Ensure security best practices are integrated throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Manage and optimize logging, monitoring, and alerting systems (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Participate in on-call rotations to support critical production systems.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency with Linux/Unix operating systems.
  • Expertise in at least one major cloud platform (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Solid understanding and practical experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet).
  • Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Go).
  • Demonstrable experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps).
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, Azure DevOps Engineer Expert).
  • Experience with database technologies (SQL and NoSQL).
  • Knowledge of network protocols and security best practices.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with GitOps principles.
