Key Responsibilities

  • Process high volumes of invoices accurately and efficiently, ensuring proper coding and approval.
  • Reconcile vendor statements, investigate discrepancies, and resolve issues promptly.
  • Manage vendor inquiries professionally and provide timely assistance regarding payment status or invoice details.
  • Prepare and execute regular payment runs, adhering to established deadlines and financial controls.
  • Maintain precise and up-to-date financial records, ensuring data integrity within the accounting system.
  • Assist with month-end closing procedures, including accruals and reconciliations.
  • Ensure strict adherence to company financial policies, procedures, and relevant regulatory requirements.
  • Collaborate effectively with internal departments to gather necessary information and facilitate smooth payment processes.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2-3 years of proven experience in an Accounts Payable role.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, or similar ERP systems).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and processing.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective vendor and internal stakeholder interaction.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving aptitude and ability to identify and resolve discrepancies independently.
  • Intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Solid understanding of basic accounting principles and AP best practices.
