Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and bake a variety of bread, pastries, cakes, cookies, and other baked goods according to recipes and production schedules.
- Decorate and finish bakery products to ensure appealing presentation.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery area, equipment, and workstations, adhering to strict food safety and sanitation standards.
- Assist with inventory management, including receiving, storing, and rotating ingredients and finished products.
- Provide excellent customer service, including taking custom orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Operate and maintain bakery equipment safely and efficiently (e.g., mixers, ovens, proofers).
- Monitor product freshness and quality, ensuring only the best items are displayed for sale.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and timely product availability.
- Handle cash and process transactions accurately at the bakery counter when required.
