Key Responsibilities
- Accurately pick and prepare customer orders for dispatch according to pick sheets and quality standards.
- Carefully pack items, ensuring proper protection and adherence to packaging guidelines.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles safely and efficiently, using appropriate equipment.
- Perform quality checks on outgoing goods to verify accuracy and condition.
- Maintain a clean, organised, and safe working environment in the goods out area.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet trucks, stackers) in a safe and responsible manner (training provided if necessary).
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation as required.
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, and delivery drivers.
- Adhere strictly to all health and safety regulations and company policies.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a warehouse or logistics environment, particularly in goods out or dispatch.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Ability to lift and move heavy items safely.
- Basic computer literacy for logging and tracking orders.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
Preferred Qualifications
