Key Responsibilities
- Develop, optimise, and manage daily and weekly schedules for field-based operational teams.
- Allocate resources (personnel, equipment) effectively based on skillsets, location, and job requirements.
- Proactively identify and resolve scheduling conflicts, resource shortages, and logistical challenges.
- Communicate extensively with field teams, dispatch, and management to ensure smooth operations and issue resolution.
- Utilise advanced planning software and systems to maximise efficiency and minimise operational costs.
- Monitor progress of scheduled work and make real-time adjustments as needed for emergency response or changing priorities.
- Analyse operational data to identify trends, forecast demands, and suggest improvements to planning processes.
- Ensure compliance with service level agreements (SLAs) and internal performance targets.
- Provide clear, concise instructions and support to field teams regarding their daily tasks.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the resource planning function.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a resource planning, scheduling, or logistics role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
