Key Responsibilities
- Provide person-centred emotional and practical support to individuals experiencing mental health issues.
- Assist service users in developing daily living skills, promoting independence and community integration.
- Implement and contribute to the review of individual care plans, ensuring they meet the needs and aspirations of service users.
- Monitor and record service user progress, reporting any concerns or significant changes to senior staff.
- Support service users in managing their medication as prescribed, adhering to company policies and procedures.
- Facilitate and engage service users in therapeutic activities, social events, and educational opportunities.

Required Skills
- Previous experience (minimum 6 months) in a mental health support role or similar care setting.
- Demonstrable understanding of mental health conditions and person-centred care principles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport effectively.
- Empathy, patience, and a non-judgmental approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
- Strong observational and reporting skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
- First Aid certification.
- Experience in crisis intervention and de-escalation techniques.
- Full UK driving license and access to a vehicle (desirable for community-based support).
