Career.zycto is seeking dedicated and reliable Mobile Patrol Officers to join our growing team, serving clients across Kemnay, Aberdeen, and the wider Aberdeenshire area. This is a critical role for individuals committed to maintaining safety, deterring crime, and responding effectively to security incidents. As a Mobile Patrol Officer, you will be the eyes and ears on the ground, providing a visible security presence and acting as a first responder to potential threats. You will operate a company vehicle, traversing designated routes to inspect properties, respond to alarms, and address any security breaches or concerns. Your days will be dynamic, requiring quick thinking, clear communication, and meticulous record-keeping. This role demands a high level of professionalism, discretion, and the ability to work independently while being an integral part of a larger security network. Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct regular mobile patrols of client premises and designated areas, ensuring a high-visibility security presence.
  • Respond promptly and effectively to alarm activations, security incidents, and emergency calls.
  • Perform detailed internal and external checks of properties, identifying and reporting any suspicious activity, damage, or security breaches.
  • Complete comprehensive incident reports, daily activity logs, and site visit records with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Liaise effectively with clients, emergency services, and fellow security personnel.
  • Enforce site rules and regulations, ensuring compliance and maintaining a safe environment.
  • Operate and maintain company vehicles responsibly and in accordance with company policies and road safety regulations.
  • Provide a professional and courteous service, acting as an ambassador for security standards.
  • Conduct key holding and alarm response duties as required.

Required Skills

  • Valid SIA (Security Industry Authority) Door Supervisor or Security Guarding license is essential.
  • Full UK driving license with no more than 6 penalty points.
  • Proven experience in a security role, preferably mobile patrol or static guarding.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
  • Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in writing clear, concise, and accurate reports.
  • Good understanding of security procedures and protocols.
  • Ability to handle challenging situations calmly and professionally.
  • Basic IT literacy for reporting and communication.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a mobile security patrol role.
  • First Aid at Work qualification.
  • Conflict Resolution training.
  • Knowledge of local area and routes within Kemnay and Aberdeenshire.
