Job Description

This is an immediate hiring opportunity for a professional who is passionate about delivering exceptional service and maintaining optimal indoor climate control. As an HVAC Technician, you will be the cornerstone of comfort and efficiency for both residential and commercial clients, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide array of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Your day will involve responding to service calls, performing thorough inspections, troubleshooting complex issues with advanced diagnostic tools, and executing precise repairs and installations. Key Responsibilities

  • Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including residential and light commercial units, ensuring optimal performance and energy efficiency.
  • Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems using advanced testing equipment.
  • Perform routine preventative maintenance on HVAC systems to extend their lifespan and prevent breakdowns.
  • Comply strictly with all relevant safety standards, building codes, and company policies.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, explaining technical issues and solutions clearly and empathetically to clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of all service, repair, and installation work performed, including parts used and hours spent.
  • Conduct thorough system inspections and recommend necessary upgrades or replacements.
  • Be available for on-call duties and emergency repairs outside regular business hours as needed.
  • Educate customers on proper system operation and maintenance for optimal performance.

Required Skills

  • EPA Section 608 Universal Certification
  • Proven experience in HVAC system installation, maintenance, and repair
  • Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities for electrical and mechanical faults
  • Proficiency with a variety of HVAC tools and equipment
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Physical capability to lift heavy equipment, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate's degree or vocational certification in HVAC technology
  • NATE (North American Technician Excellence) certification
  • Experience with smart home and building automation systems
  • Prior experience in both residential and commercial HVAC settings
  • Familiarity with local building codes and regulations
