Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a shuttle vehicle on scheduled routes, adhering to all traffic laws and company policies.
- Ensure punctuality and maintain adherence to designated schedules and timelines.
- Provide exceptional customer service, assisting passengers with boarding, disembarking, and luggage as needed.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle, reporting any mechanical issues or damage promptly.
- Maintain the cleanliness and tidiness of the shuttle vehicle, both interior and exterior.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch, supervisors, and passengers, providing updates on delays, incidents, or other pertinent information.
- Handle passenger inquiries and address minor concerns professionally and courteously.
- Follow emergency procedures in the event of an accident, breakdown, or medical incident, ensuring passenger safety.
- Complete daily logs, mileage records, and any other required paperwork accurately.
Required Skills
- Valid Class 4 (or equivalent for passenger transport) driver's license in Manitoba.
- Minimum of 1 year (12 months) professional driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no major infractions.
- Strong geographical knowledge of Steinbach and surrounding areas.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to operate a vehicle safely in varying weather conditions.
- Punctuality and reliability are essential.
- Basic mechanical aptitude for routine vehicle checks.
