Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and technically proficient Cloud Platform Support Specialist to join our dynamic team in Sainte-Foy, Quebec City. Key Responsibilities
- Provide expert-level technical support for cloud-based platforms and applications (AWS, Azure, GCP), addressing incidents, requests, and problems.
- Perform in-depth troubleshooting, diagnosis, and resolution of complex technical issues related to cloud infrastructure, services, and connectivity.
- Monitor cloud platform performance, availability, and security, proactively identifying and mitigating potential risks or disruptions.
- Collaborate with internal development, operations, and engineering teams to escalate and resolve critical issues, and contribute to root cause analysis.
- Document technical solutions, knowledge base articles, and operational procedures to improve support efficiency and user self-service.
- Assist clients with configuration, deployment, and optimization of their cloud resources, ensuring adherence to best practices and security standards.
- Participate in an on-call rotation schedule to provide 24/7 support for critical incidents as needed.
- Stay current with emerging cloud technologies, services, and industry trends to continuously enhance support capabilities.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of experience in cloud platform support (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Strong understanding of cloud networking, security, and compute services
- Proficiency with Linux/Unix and Windows operating systems
- Experience with scripting languages (e.g., Python, PowerShell, Bash)
- Solid knowledge of incident management and troubleshooting methodologies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant cloud certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Azure Administrator Associate, Google Associate Cloud Engineer)
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation)
- Bilingualism (English and French) is a strong asset due to the location
- Experience with IT service management (ITSM) tools like ServiceNow, Jira Service Desk
