Key Responsibilities
- Edit raw footage into engaging and cohesive video content, adhering strictly to project briefs, brand guidelines, and client specifications.
- Work with various video formats, aspect ratios, and delivery specifications for different platforms (e.g., social media, broadcast, web, corporate).
- Incorporate motion graphics, special effects, lower thirds, music, and sound design to enhance video quality and visual appeal.
- Collaborate closely with creative directors, videographers, marketing specialists, and clients to understand project requirements, vision, and desired outcomes.
- Efficiently manage and organize media assets, ensuring proper archiving, version control, and backup procedures are followed.
- Review and meticulously implement feedback from stakeholders, ensuring timely revisions and final approvals.
- Stay updated with the latest industry trends, cutting-edge editing techniques, software advancements, and best practices in video content creation.
- Ensure all final video outputs meet stringent technical specifications, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Assist in pre-production planning (e.g., storyboarding, shot lists) and post-production workflows (e.g., media management, compression) as needed.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro and Adobe After Effects.
- Strong understanding of video editing principles, pacing, visual storytelling, and narrative structure.
- Solid knowledge of color correction, grading, and audio mixing techniques.
- Ability to work independently on projects while also excelling as part of a collaborative team.
- Excellent time management, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously under pressure.
- Demonstrable creative flair and a strong visual aesthetic with an eye for detail.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
