Key Responsibilities
- Safely and efficiently transport a variety of goods and packages across designated routes in London, adhering to all traffic laws and company safety protocols.
- Plan and optimize delivery routes for maximum efficiency, taking into account traffic conditions, recipient availability, and specified delivery windows.
- Conduct thorough daily vehicle checks to ensure the motorcycle is in optimal working condition, reporting any issues promptly.
- Maintain accurate records of all deliveries and collections, including obtaining necessary signatures or proof of delivery.
- Provide exceptional customer service during all interactions, representing Career.zycto professionally and courteously.
- Communicate effectively and proactively with dispatchers regarding delivery status, potential delays, or any unforeseen issues encountered on route.
- Handle all packages with the utmost care to prevent damage during loading, transit, and unloading.
- Manage delivery schedules, prioritize urgent assignments, and adapt to changes in real-time as needed.
- Ensure all delivery paperwork is correctly completed and submitted at the end of each shift.
Required Skills
- Valid UK motorcycle driving license (Category A or A2) with a clean driving record (maximum of 3 penalty points).
- Proven experience navigating London streets efficiently and safely, demonstrating excellent local geographical knowledge.
- Exceptional time management and organizational abilities to handle multiple deliveries effectively.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a polite and professional demeanor.
- Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, and make sound decisions under pressure.
- Physical stamina to handle varied weather conditions and lift/carry packages as required.
- Proficiency in using GPS navigation tools and smartphone-based delivery applications.
