Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for hardware, software, and network-related issues via phone, email, or in-person.
- Assist in diagnosing, troubleshooting, and resolving desktop, laptop, mobile device, and peripheral problems.
- Perform basic system administration tasks, including user account management, password resets, and permission adjustments.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems and software applications.
- Document support issues, resolutions, and procedures in our ticketing system.
- Escalate complex IT issues to senior IT engineers when necessary.
- Assist with IT asset management, including inventory tracking and equipment deployment.
- Participate in IT projects as needed, such as system upgrades or new technology rollouts.
- Ensure IT security best practices are followed and data integrity is maintained.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication to all internal users.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Windows operating systems (Windows 10/11).
- Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
- Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong customer service orientation and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
