Job Description
Career.zycto is seeking a dedicated and skilled Frontend Coding Technician to join our growing team in Montcalm, Quebec City. In this pivotal role, you will be instrumental in developing and maintaining the user-facing side of our web applications, ensuring a seamless, engaging, and highly functional experience for our diverse user base. You will work closely with our design, backend, and product teams to translate wireframes and UI/UX designs into high-quality, reusable code, focusing on performance, scalability, and cross-browser compatibility. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement responsive user interfaces for web applications using modern frontend frameworks and libraries.
- Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate visual designs and wireframes into high-quality code.
- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs and optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code following best practices.
- Conduct thorough testing of frontend components to ensure cross-browser compatibility and responsiveness across various devices.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and share knowledge within the team.
- Work closely with backend developers to integrate frontend components with API services.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues, providing effective solutions to enhance user experience.
- Stay informed about emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to enhance our development process and products.
Required Skills
- Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+)
- Experience with at least one modern JavaScript framework (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js)
- Solid understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development
- Familiarity with version control systems, particularly Git
- Experience with CSS preprocessors (e.g., SASS, LESS)
- Ability to write clean, semantic, and accessible code
