As an Assembly Technician, you will play a crucial role in our manufacturing process, responsible for the accurate and efficient assembly of mechanical and electronic components according to technical drawings, specifications, and quality standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Assemble mechanical and/or electronic components accurately according to technical drawings and specifications.
  • Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, schematics, and other written instructions.
  • Perform quality checks and inspections on assembled products to ensure they meet internal and industry standards.
  • Operate various hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Identify and report any defects, non-conformities, or discrepancies in components or assembly processes.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe workstation, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to optimize production flow and problem-solve.
  • Assist in the setup and calibration of assembly equipment as required.

Required Skills

  • Proven experience (minimum 1 year) in a manufacturing, production, or assembly environment.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and fine motor skills with strong hand-eye coordination.
  • Ability to accurately read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and assembly instructions.
  • Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Basic understanding of engineering principles and mechanical assembly processes.
  • Proficiency in using a variety of hand tools and basic power tools.
  • Good problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to work.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

  • NVQ Level 2/3 in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with specific assembly techniques such as soldering, wiring, or intricate mechanical fitting.
  • Previous experience operating CNC machinery or automated assembly equipment.
  • Forklift license or experience with material handling within a factory setting.
