Key Responsibilities
- Perform a wide range of hair services including cutting, styling, coloring, highlights, perms, relaxers, and various hair treatments.
- Conduct thorough client consultations to understand their desired look, assess hair condition, and recommend suitable services and products.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic workstation and ensure all tools and equipment are sterilized according to salon standards.
- Stay updated on current hair trends, techniques, and product knowledge through continuous learning and workshops.
- Build and maintain a loyal client base through exceptional service, strong communication, and professional demeanor.
- Educate clients on proper hair care routines and recommend professional retail products to enhance and maintain their styles.
- Manage appointment schedules efficiently and assist with front desk duties when necessary.
- Collaborate positively with team members to ensure a smooth and harmonious salon operation.
- Contribute to the salon's social media presence by sharing high-quality photos of your work (with client permission).
Required Skills
- Proficiency in various hair cutting techniques (classic and modern)
- Expertise in hair coloring, including balayage, ombre, highlights, and full-color applications
- Strong hair styling skills for various occasions (blowouts, updos, braids)
- Excellent client consultation and communication abilities
- Customer service orientation with a friendly and professional approach
- Knowledge of hair care products and their appropriate use
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Preferred Qualifications
- Formal cosmetology certification or diploma from a recognized institution
