Job Description

Career.zycto is actively seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Procurement Support Coordinator to join a thriving team in the NDG (Notre-Dame-de-Grâce) area of Montreal. This pivotal role is ideal for an individual passionate about optimizing procurement processes, ensuring timely delivery, and maintaining excellent supplier relationships. As a Procurement Support Coordinator, you will be instrumental in supporting the full procurement lifecycle, from requisition to payment, by providing essential administrative and logistical assistance. You will work closely with our procurement specialists and various internal departments to streamline operations, manage vendor information, and facilitate efficient purchasing activities.

You will be responsible for processing purchase orders, tracking shipments, resolving discrepancies, and maintaining accurate records within our procurement systems. Key Responsibilities

  • Process purchase requisitions and convert them into purchase orders efficiently and accurately.
  • Track the status of orders, ensuring timely delivery and proactively communicating any potential delays to relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and update supplier information, including contracts, pricing, and performance records.
  • Assist in vendor selection processes, including researching potential suppliers and gathering quotes.
  • Reconcile invoices with purchase orders and goods received notes, resolving any discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Support inventory management activities by monitoring stock levels and assisting with replenishment orders.
  • Prepare various procurement reports, including spend analysis and performance metrics.
  • Act as a primary point of contact for internal departments regarding procurement-related inquiries.
  • Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency within the procurement function.

Required Skills

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a procurement, administrative, or supply chain support role.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and French.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team and independently.
  • Basic understanding of procurement principles and supply chain processes.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Post-secondary education in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).
  • Familiarity with e-procurement platforms.
  • Certifications in procurement or supply chain (e.g., SCMP, CPP).
