Key Responsibilities

  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently, including deposits, withdrawals, transfers, and payments.
  • Provide outstanding customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive banking experience.
  • Identify customer needs and proactively offer relevant financial products and services, engaging in cross-selling when appropriate.
  • Maintain a balanced cash drawer and manage vault currency according to established procedures.
  • Adhere strictly to all banking regulations, security protocols, and company policies to safeguard assets and client information.
  • Assist clients with opening new accounts, updating existing account information, and setting up various banking services.
  • Educate customers on the use of digital banking platforms, ATMs, and other self-service tools.
  • Collaborate effectively with team members to achieve individual and branch sales and service goals.
  • Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation accurately and in a timely manner.

Required Skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong numerical aptitude and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in basic computer applications, including Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proven ability to handle cash accurately and efficiently.

Preferred Qualifications

  • OND, HND, or B.Sc. in Banking & Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Previous experience in a banking, retail, or customer service role.
  • Familiarity with banking products, services, and regulatory compliance.
  • Fluency in local Nigerian languages (e.g., Igala, Yoruba, Hausa) in addition to English.
