Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily production activities to ensure smooth operations and adherence to production schedules.
- Implement and enforce strict quality control measures to ensure products meet company standards and specifications.
- Monitor production output, identify bottlenecks, and implement corrective actions to optimize efficiency and productivity.
- Lead, train, and mentor a team of production staff, fostering a positive and high-performance work environment.
- Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment, coordinating with maintenance for timely repairs and preventive maintenance.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and environmental regulations on the factory floor.
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly production reports, analyzing data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with other departments (e.g., supply chain, R&D) to streamline processes and achieve overall business objectives.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives through lean manufacturing principles and waste reduction strategies.
- Manage inventory levels of raw materials and finished goods, ensuring optimal stock levels for uninterrupted production.
Required Skills
- Proven experience in a supervisory role within a manufacturing or factory environment.
- Strong understanding of quality control principles and production processes.
- Demonstrated ability to meet production targets and improve operational efficiency.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
- Proficiency in problem-solving and decision-making under pressure.
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations in a manufacturing setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, both written and verbal.
