Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a diverse range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including expertly crafted cocktails, wines, beers, and spirits.
- Engage with guests in a friendly and professional manner, taking orders, offering recommendations, and ensuring an exceptional customer experience.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and well-stocked bar area, adhering to all health and safety regulations.
- Accurately process cash and card transactions using POS systems and handle end-of-shift reconciliation.
- Monitor customer alcohol consumption and ensure responsible service, adhering to licensing laws and promoting a safe environment.
- Manage bar inventory, including ordering, receiving, and stocking beverages and supplies.
- Collaborate effectively with the wider front-of-house and kitchen teams to ensure seamless service.
- Assist with opening and closing procedures, including setting up and breaking down the bar.
- Continuously learn and adapt to new menu items, promotions, and industry trends.
Required Skills
- Minimum of 1 year of proven bartending experience in a fast-paced environment.
- Extensive knowledge of classic and contemporary cocktails, spirits, wines, and beers.
- Exceptional customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure and maintain composure during busy periods.
- Strong numerical skills for cash handling and inventory management.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays.
