Career.zycto is seeking a highly motivated and empathetic Student Services Support Coordinator to join our vibrant team in Kalkie, Bundaberg. As a Student Services Support Coordinator, you will be the primary point of contact for student inquiries, offering comprehensive assistance on a wide range of topics including enrollment, academic advising, financial aid navigation, campus resources, and student wellbeing. Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for student inquiries via phone, email, and in-person, providing accurate and timely information.
- Assist students with the enrollment process, course registration, and understanding academic requirements.
- Provide guidance on financial aid options, scholarship opportunities, and payment plans.
- Refer students to appropriate campus resources, including counselling services, career development, and academic support.
- Maintain accurate and confidential student records, ensuring compliance with privacy regulations.
- Coordinate and facilitate student orientation programs, workshops, and informational sessions.
- Mediate and resolve student complaints or issues, escalating when necessary and ensuring fair outcomes.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff to enhance student engagement and retention initiatives.
- Assist in the development and implementation of student support policies and procedures.
- Prepare reports on student services activities and outcomes for management review.
Required Skills
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a student services or administrative support role, preferably in an educational setting.
- Demonstrated experience in customer service or client-facing roles.
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and student information systems.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Empathy, patience, and a genuine desire to assist students from diverse backgrounds.
- Problem-solving capabilities with a proactive and solution-oriented approach.
Preferred Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification (Diploma or Bachelor's degree) in Education, Social Work, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Familiarity with Australian higher education policies and regulatory frameworks.
