We are on the hunt for a highly skilled and passionate Chef with a proven track record across Continental, Local (British/regional), and Fine Dining cuisines. Key Responsibilities
- Execute and oversee the preparation and cooking of dishes across Continental, Local, and Fine Dining menus, ensuring consistently high standards.
- Actively participate in menu development, creating innovative and seasonal dishes that utilize fresh, high-quality ingredients.
- Manage kitchen operations during service, ensuring efficiency, quality control, and adherence to health and safety regulations.
- Mentor and train junior kitchen staff, fostering a positive and productive team environment.
- Monitor inventory and manage food costs effectively, minimizing waste without compromising quality.
- Maintain a pristine and organized kitchen environment at all times.
- Collaborate with front-of-house staff to ensure seamless communication and exceptional guest experiences.
- Stay updated with culinary trends and techniques to continuously elevate the dining experience.
Required Skills
- Proven experience as a Chef in a reputable restaurant setting, with a strong background in Continental, Local, and Fine Dining.
- Exceptional culinary skills, including advanced knife skills, cooking techniques, and presentation.
- Comprehensive knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations (HACCP certification preferred).
- Ability to work efficiently under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a team.
- Creativity and a passion for experimenting with new ingredients and flavours.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
