Key Responsibilities
- Provide first-level technical support for POS hardware (e.g., card readers, receipt printers, barcode scanners) and software issues.
- Assist with the installation, configuration, and testing of new POS systems and peripherals at client locations.
- Perform routine maintenance and diagnostic checks to ensure optimal system performance.
- Document all support activities, resolutions, and client interactions accurately in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to senior technicians or relevant departments as needed.
- Provide basic training and guidance to end-users on POS system functionality and best practices.
- Travel to client sites within Akure and surrounding areas to provide on-site support.
